To my understanding this is a technique considered as 'miniature stained glass'. I currently am taking stained glass and like the idea of incorportating it into jewelry or other small-scale sculptures. Tell me more about this plique-a-jour......

Check out Valeri Timokov (something like that, I don't have time to look it up)- amazing contemporary plique-a-jour. Aloso Liz Steiner has a catalog of an enamel show hosted by the Enamelist Guild called Metamorphosis. There is a young woman (i believe) doing amazing pliq-a-jour.
